Rolex's advertising often plays upon celebrity for its campaigns, and when I discovered that the Dalai Lama, the most famous living ascetic, has a prized Rolex collection … well, the rest writes itself.

To expand the campaign I looked into other unexpected Rolex brand evangelists whose enthusiasm would seem at odds with their pronounced beliefs and ideology.
